We are now home after a cruise down the Chilean fiords. The best part was a trip to the San Rafael glacier. It is the lowest latitude tidewater glacier in the world – and the farthest northern tidewater glacier in the southern hemisphere. It originates high in the Andes in the snowfields over 80 Km away near the Argentinian border. In places it is over 30 Km wide. And the bergs that if calves are that blue! No photoshop here. One of the most spectacular places we have ever been!
